Little Journey was delighted to be accepted onto the LEGO Foundation Play for All Accelerator. Supported by NASEN (The National Association of Special Educational Needs) and Founders Intelligence, we will be collaborating with the team at The LEGO Foundation to develop our product for autistic children and children with ADHD.
We all think and learn differently; evidence shows that neurodivergent children in particular benefit from the sheer variety of ways to learn that come from play. We believe that the immersive, interactive world of Little Journey has the potential to provide meaningful support to neurodivergent children, improving their healthcare experiences and outcomes.
Our co-founders, Chris and Sophie, have spent an insightful and inspiring week at LEGO H.Q. in Billund, Denmark. Mindsets were challenged, LEGO friends made, and valuable lessons were learnt about the importance of inclusive, universal design to create a Little Journey that promotes agency through choice and the ability to support all children to better health. The rest of the team are so excited to get to work and see how this fantastic opportunity progresses; watch this space!
